Toyota 4Runner is Equipped With New Entune Audio System

Lustine Toyota can't help but notice that the Toyota 4Runner has given some of the top-ranking midsize vehicles in the market a run for their money. Backed by J.D. Power and Associates as 2011's "Most Dependable Midsize Crossover/SUV," the model has a lot to live up to. Thankfully, with a brand-new audio system, the 2012 4Runner is doing just that.

Toyota Entune is "a collection of popular mobile applications and data services" connected to the vehicle using either Bluetooth or a USB cable.  Operated by car controls or voice recognition, the system provides apps for Pandora, Bing, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com and OpenTable. Technological capabilities don't stop at Entune however. Also available are navigation, XM Satellite Radio, and HD Radio with iTunes tagging. And for those of you who operate on a demanding schedule, Toyota understands that turning off the smartphone while driving isn't always possible. So, in order to help drivers stay safely connected, the 4Runner is equipped with text/e-mail-to-speech conversion.

At this moment in time, Entune is accessible with the Toyota 4Runner only. But in the not so distant future, owners of a new Toyota Camry, Toyota Tacoma, or Toyota Prius can get in on the tech-treasure as well.

As far as performance and styling go, the 2012 Toyota 4Runner is built with improved suspension for a more comfortable ride and comes in three models: a well-equipped SR5, top-of-the-line Limited and an off-roading Trail 4X4. A 4.0-liter V6 engine provides 270 horsepower and 278 lb/ft of torque while gaining a fuel economy rating of 17 mpg city/23 mpg highway (with 22 mpg highway for the 4X4 variant).

Lustine Toyota expects the 2012 Toyota 4Runner to arrive soon at 14227 Jefferson Davis Hwy Woodbridge, VA. While waiting, we invite you to check out any of the other new Toyota models available to test drive now. To pick a convenient time for you, just contact us online or give a call at (866) 843-0264.
