Lustine Toyota in Woodbridge, VA doesn't like to brag. What's more, we feel tooting your own horn is unnecessary when your horn honks loud enough on its own. Take the Toyota Prius Plug-In for example. We could boastfully exclaim that the rechargeable hybrid is the best model in its class. But we don't need to. The vehicle's stellar fuel economy speaks for itself.
Last September, Toyota officials estimated that the plug-in Prius would achieve 49 miles per gallon in hybrid mode and reach up to 87 mpg-e with combined frequent battery pack charging. Impressive, no? Well, Lustine Toyota is pleased to report that Toyota has upped its expectations and now believes the new Prius model will hit 50 mpg on hybrid and go as high as 95 mpg-e with combined power sources. Bob Carter, Group Vice President of Toyota's U.S. sales, says, "It's still an estimate, but we are confident it's going to be 95."1
With these strong estimates in mind, the Japanese automaker is targeting a record-breaking 220,000 U.S. sales for its Toyota Prius line this year. We're almost positive all consumers in the Woodbridge area are familiar with the Prius family of hybrids but just in case, we're happy to do a quick run-down.
- Prius hatchback: the original one- Prius c: the city one
- Prius v: the spacious one
- Prius Plug-In: the one that gives you options
Not convinced that there's a right Prius out there for you? That's ok. Our Lustine Toyota team members at 14227 Jefferson Davis Hwy Woodbridge, VA 22191 would be more than happy to sit down with you and go over each Toyota Prius offering in depth. And if you're still not sure that your lifestyle fits with hybrid driving, we'd be glad to set you up with any of the other new Toyota models on our lot.
