Which Trim Level of the 2019 Toyota Tundra is Right for Me?

The full-size Toyota Tundra pickup truck is unlike any other on the market, strong and reliable! The spacious cabin makes room for the whole crew, seating up to six passengers and keeps them all connected with advanced tech features. Plus, Toyota outfits the Tundra with all the latest safety features as standard so the crew can be protected too! Now that you know how fabulous this truck is and know that it's perfect for your life and career, you need to choose the right trim level. The Tundra is offered in five trim levels and we are going over what each one has to offer in detail to help you choose!


SR: The entry-level SR model comes outfitted with features like a six-speaker sound system, a windshield wiper de-icer, 18-inch steel wheels, an integrated trailer brake controller, a damped tailgate, a rearview camera, a USB port, a 6.1-inch touchscreen interface, a CD player, and Bluetooth. Standard safety features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and mitigation, automatic high beams, and lane departure warning. 

SR5: Step up to the SR5 trim level for additional features like an overhead console to keep you organized, variable intermittent windshield wipers, a power-opening rear window, and fog lights. The upgraded tech interface for this trim adds navigation, a 7-inch touchscreen, traffic information, and satellite and HD radio. The available Upgrade package adds features like an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a power-adjustable driver seat, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and a center console with storage. A TRD Sport package is also available for the SR5 model, adding features like TRD embossed floor mats, body-colored mirrors, LED headlights and fog lights, a hood scoop, 20-inch wheels, and a sport-tuned suspension. 

Limited: Up next is the Limited trim level comes outfitted with all the features for the SR5's Upgrade package as well as features like a power horizontal-sliding rear window, automatic headlights, additional sound system speakers, a navigation system, movable tie-down cleats, an upgraded power driver's seat, 20-inch wheels, a power-adjustable passenger seat, leather upholstery, and automatic dual-zone climate control.  

Platinum: Toyota offers the Platinum trim next. This trim comes equipped with features like a 12-speaker premium JBL sound system, distinctive styling elements, heated and ventilated front seats, LED daytime running lights, driver-seat memory functions, auto-dimming and power-folding mirrors, and a sunroof. An available 1794 Edition of the Tundra is available, building off the Platinum model with exclusive interior and exterior styling elements. 

An available TRD Off-Road package can be added to the SR5, Limited, and 1794 Edition trims adding features like tow hooks, skid plates, trail-tuned shock absorbers, LED headlights, off-road tires, an 18-inch TRD wheels. 

TRD Pro: The very last trim level of the Tundra is the TRD Pro. This model comes outfitted with TRD Pro stamping, a unique grille, a front skid plate, shiny black exhaust tip and TRD Pro exhaust change, LED headlights and fog lights, lighter BBS forged wheels, a 2-inch front lift for additional ground clearance, and bigger aluminum Fox shocks for better damping control and heat dissipation.
